Audience & Business Problem: Newly hired MO Fun Travel Consultants are not effectively referencing the results from the MO Fun Travel Surveys being filled out by Southwest Missouri tourists. Tour bookings are at an all-time low.
Solution: This training will help prepare Travel Consultants with the necessary skills to match attractions tailored to the specific client preferences indicated by tourists to increase tour bookings by 20%.
Highlights: Real-life scenarios, avatars, animations, chunking information, tabs, states, click-to-reveal interactions, hot spots, markers, layers, triggers, custom buttons, knowledge checks, and a final quiz
Process: Using the ADDIE/SAM models, a needs analysis revealed that Travel Consultants were not using the results of the MO Fun Travel Survey effectively when making recommendations to patrons. From this information, I decided on learning objectives, how to chunk content, sequence and most appropriate delivery method. I used feedback to create a design document and storyboard using real-life scenarios encountered on the job. The training was then developed in Articulate360 Storyline.
Kirkpatrick's Level 2 of Evaluation: At the end of the course, there will be a quiz with 5 scenario based multiple choice questions. Consultants will be allowed unlimited attempts to reach the passing score of 80%.
Kirkpatrick's Level 3 of Evaluation: Within 3 months, a supervisor will observe if tour bookings have increased. The supervisor will also use tourist post surveys to determine if they were pleased with their recommendations.

Audience & Business Problem: Flat Rock Brewery patrons are not repeat customers because they are not finding beers they like based on beertender flight recommendations. This indicates a knowledge gap in beertenders' abilities to accurately suggest beers the patrons would like. Most beertenders are new to the basics of craft beer and specifically to the flavor profiles of Flat Rock Brewery.
Solution: Beertenders need to be trained on available beers and their flavor profiles so they can make to brewery patrons. Brewery patron pint sales will increase by 10% from customers who were given flight recommendations by Flat Rock beertenders.
Highlights: scenarios, drag and drop, tabs, markers, avatars, knowledge checks, final quiz
Process: A needs analysis revealed beertenders were not knowledgable in beer flavor profiles. From this, I determined the learning objectives based on essential information and then chunked it accordingly. Realistic scenarios were created to increase buy-in from beertenders because of their relevance to their job. Articulate360 Rise was then used to develop the training.
Kirkpatrick's Level 2 of Evaluation: Upon completion of the course, beertenders will complete a 5 question multiple choice quiz. They will be allowed unlimited attempts to reach the passing score of 80%.
Kirkpatrick's Level 3 of Evaluation: Surveys will be provided to patrons at time of service to complete to determine satisfaction and likelihood of returning to brewery for future purchases.
