As an instructional designer, I am dedicated to developing and designing creative instruction to help individuals achieve success when learning new things!

For as long as I can remember, writing, designing, and learning are my key passions.

From serving as editor of my high school yearbook to earning my first degrees in journalism and graphic design, I love combining my knowledge from different fields and applying it to the job at hand. As an instructional designer, I continue to flex my creative muscles and meld these loves into my dream job!

In my personal life, I love exploring new places with my family. And if there's a food tour available for the city...sign me up! Trying new foods and beverages is so much fun and what better way to really experience a destination if not through my tastebuds! At home, my grumpy pug and crazy sheepadoodle are my snugglebuddies and are always vying for my attention.

Applied Instructional Design Certification

This badge is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing the ID Fundamentals, Rise, Storyline, e-Learning Development, and Instructional Design Process badges. Earners complete 400+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. Earners create a portfolio that must pass certain criteria.
